Megan was fantastic to work with and answered all of our questions quickly! She made the process easy and less stressful! Megan assisted us with ideas and tips along the way making it easier to go through the planning process. Brent (hall manager) and Amy (banquet manager) were fantastic! Brent was very accommodating on meeting me two times and showing me the venue. They were both at our event and catered to our every need! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Drees and McHales’ services for any type of event. The food was delicious and Phyllis was fantastic!! I just can't say enough good things about her! The other staff members were adequate but Phyllis went above and beyond with her attitude and cheerfulness! Which, when we are entertaining guests it is extremely important to us to make them feel welcome and not just served. Smiles and pleasant interaction are valuable qualities!!! Megan Foltz was a sweetheart to work with throughout the planning process for my daughter’s wedding; she was very accommodating and patient throughout the entire planning. If I or my daughter had a question, we could call her or send an email, which she responded to immediately. Her personal input and expertise was greatly appreciated. Once we had everything finalized, Megan was in contact with the other vendors. I would highly recommend any of the McHale’s facilities. Both my daughters got married within a year’s time – one had their reception at The Marquise and the other at The Gardens. Both facilities treat you like royalty. Once you sign your contract with McHale’s, you have no worries. You get to enjoy your wedding reception because you know everything is taken care of. So many guests complimented both facilities on the professionalism of the employees and the respect that they gave them. McHale’s takes care of the details from being in contact with the vendors to meeting the needs of your guests, whether it be for a food allergy or a special food preparation. From start to the end of the wedding reception, I did not have any stress. As I say to people: When you have McHale’s as your reception facility, you just show up and enjoy because everything is handled for you. From getting your food, cake, drinks and packing your car at the end of the evening; McHale’s takes care of you and makes sure everything is done to your satisfaction. Many thanks again for your professionalism and giving both my daughters two fabulous wedding receptions. The hall manager, Bobby was very helpful throughout the process, as well. He gave a lot of advice as far as decorating and seating the facility. Bobby was also the banquet manager and made sure everything flowed smoothly prior to the event and that evening. All the employees that evening were constantly moving and doing their job, which was taking care of the guests and making sure their needs were met. Bobby did a super job getting the facility ready for the reception. His personal touches were greatly appreciated. Additionally, the guests commented on the uniqueness of the S’mores and how it added to the festivities of the evening. Continue what you are doing. I was very please with both The Marquise and The Gardens.

Cassie Dean was the planner for our event. She is just plain awesome. She was available to us, patient when answering questions, and presented a very calming influence during the planning and execution of the event. We loved working with her and want the McHale’s management to know that she is a great face for your company. The banquet staff was fabulous. Nancy, our banquet manager and the other staff treated John and me as if we were royalty. In addition, and equally important, they treated our guests like royalty. We had many unsolicited comments made about the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Please give them due accolades. THEY WERE WONDERFUL! It was quite apparent that each knew exactly what was needed to make the event flow smoothly. They were extremely helpful in packing up the remaining food and breaking down the table decorations. So unexpectedly nice.

Kaitlyn, I cannot say enough or put into words how perfect everything turned out for our Company Christmas Party at the Gardens of Park Hills. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the food was awesome, and the room was set up exactly as we had indicated. Our employees are still raving over the party and how much they enjoyed it. Only one glitch in the whole evening and that was when Santa did not show because I gave him the directions to our warehouse and not to the party! Now…let me tell you…if you have never been reprimanded by Santa…it is an experience you NEVER want to have to encounter: Now young lady, I will have you know, I stood out there for two hours waiting for people to start coming to that party… I am for sure on the naughty list this year…he let me know this in no uncertain terms. Your staff wanted me to let you know what became of Santa so you could tell them. But I have to say they were so helpful in trying to locate a replacement Santa or at least a Santa suit at the last minute for us. All turned out well when one of our employees ended up being an honorary Christmas Elf and handing out the presents. Again thank you for EVERYTHING…the evening was perfect.

Hi Kaitlyn, Just wanted to thank you and all your wonderful staff at the Florentine for the most beautiful wedding for my daughter Kristen and her husband Mike. The venue was perfect from the ceremony through the reception. The transition from the ceremony to the reception went very smoothly despite the fact that I felt we were always in the staff’s way trying to get our pictures done. The staff was very attentive and even helped avert a minor crisis by coming up with pins for the grandmother's corsages which the florist had forgotten to supply. They also made sure that Kristen and Mike were well taken care of all evening as well as all the rest of our guests. We received many compliments on the food as well. Everything was just perfect. Hi Kaitlyn, I have to say ... I had the most amazing day of my life on Saturday and McHale's was so much a big part in making my day so perfect! I don't think that I could possibly rave enough about your staff - they were beyond perfect! They greeted all of my guests and Ryan and me at the door with drinks and were so hospitable! My guests kept commenting how quickly and efficiently the waiters took empty beer bottles away and how polite they all were. They even had a piece of my cake ready for me at my seat - the exact flavor that we discussed beforehand - PERFECT! Also, we heard from absolutely everyone that the food was the best food that they've ever had at a wedding and I couldn't agree more! I loved everything about the night and McHale's. I couldn't have asked for a better reception hall and I will recommend McHale's to all of my friends. You were amazing through this whole process and really helped me plan all the little details to make my night perfect. All of my items that I dropped off were exactly how I envisioned they would be and the whole hall looked wonderful. A lot of my guests told me that my wedding was one of the best weddings that they've ever been to and I owe that to McHale's! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am so happy with everything!

Everything was handled in a very professional manner; the servers, bartender - everyone. All questions were answered and I was satisfied. I attended the tasting with all the Brides-to-be; I felt young again! We had three ladies in wheelchairs and they were all treated very well, even the ones with canes and portable oxygen tanks. Using the elevator to our room; I could not have asked for anything better. It was a very successful perfect event.

Dear Sir, During the Lutsi reception 8/4/12 I had a traumatic choking incident. Your staff and security personnel spent extensive time with me to make sure I was recovering. They went beyond expectations to give me excellent care. My recovery was paramount on their minds and because of their efforts and the paramedics I’m recovering nicely. Melinda, Thank you for all your help! I was definitely pleased with everything! This process was above and beyond what I ever dreamed. Just a note of THANKS for making our daughters wedding a memorable event! Your staff were extremely accommodating and courteous. On the night of the wedding they were always available to fulfill any request we had. Our guests also commented on how pleasant and friendly the staff was. Cassie took the time to show us around and answered all of our questions. She was good about sending us emails and reminding us when we needed to turn in info or make a deposit. We were very happy with our experience at The Marquise. Cassie did a great job of guiding us with our planning and giving us suggestions for our reception. Cassie was extremely helpful and professional in all areas. I felt that I could ask her anything and she would know the answer, or be willing to find me the answer in a timely manner. She was also extremely personable and helped me remain as least stressed as possible throughout the process! I was just so happy that I didn’t have to set up or tear down! The staff was very helpful throughout the entire night, even to plating my food for me and getting me my cake. It’s the little things that matter, and the fact that McHale’s provides the services for those little things makes all the difference. Thank you so much!! It truly was the best day of my life and I wouldn’t have changed a thing about it.

Cassie, What great memories you helped create for our families. Your staff was extremely professional and proficient. I wish we could hold Mike's wedding in October with you all!!! (That might be a far commute from Louisville.) The menu was perfect and it was so pleasant to upgrade to the next package. 150 fit perfectly on the lower level. The displays worked perfectly and the guest book near the cake was super, lots signed there. Lynn was wonderful and even offered to get ice cream for Grandma. The send off was terrific. My one friend thought it was classy. The pace was great and we gave Laura her two hour block of dancing. The jazz trio was fabulous on the dance floor, Larry's speech, the FOG blessing and the toasts were perfect. All in all, one very classy, elegant and fun event. My toes are still numb from dancing ( I wanted to wear those flashy shoes all night). Thank you for you expertise. Fondly, Jan (formerly known as MOB, now MOG!!!).

I want to thank McHale's and The Marquise for making Kristina and Ben's wedding day special. The professional staff there made the guests feel welcome. From the first contact that we had with Cassie to the end of the reception, their day was successful as a result of McHale's staff. McHale's and The Marquise think of every detail for you that you may have forgotten. They set-up the hall so it is attractive that it gives you a WOW feeling; also, they take care of you personally from the million questions that you have before the wedding. They make you feel relaxed at the reception so you can enjoy the day and accommodate all the guests. Having my daughter's reception there was amazing and looking forward to my other daughter's wedding with McHale's in April, 2013. Congratulations on a job well done.

Dear Lynn, I want to personally thank you for everything that you did for our daughter’s reception. You went above and beyond the call of duty! You were so attentive to our every need. Thank you for reassuring me when I was freaking out about uninvited guests walking in. Luckily, some of the confirmed invited guests didn’t show up. I was greatly inspired by how you stayed so genuine and supportive all through the evening. Keeping a positive attitude while taking care of 265 patrons for five hours is no easy task! I was most impressed when you took care of my 92 year old father. He is of great mind but can’t hold a plate and walk at the same time. However, he can hold onto his granddaughter and walk her down the aisle along with her daddy. Please know that I will be forever grateful for everything!
